We are thrilled to announce that SARA Green Valley is now open. Our brand new office is a fully equipped imaging facility designed to provide cutting-edge radiology services with the latest advancements in technology, allowing us to deliver faster scan times, exceptional image quality, and a wide range of services to meet your diagnostic needs. Additionally, we are proud to offer readily available screening mammogram and diagnostic breast imaging appointments. Walk-in x-ray will also be available. We invested in deep learning based artificial intelligence technology that works seamlessly alongside our skilled radiologists to enhance both the efficiency and accuracy of your scans, revolutionizing the way we perform MRI scans. By leveraging deep learning algorithms, we can significantly reduce scan times while maintaining and even improving image quality. This means you’ll spend less time in the scanner without compromising the diagnostic value of the exam.
The Only 3T MRI in Green Valley
As part of our commitment to offering the most advanced radiology services, SARA is proud to offer the only 3 Tesla (3T) MRI scanner in Green Valley, and the newest 3T MRI scanner in Pima County. 3T MRI is more powerful than 1.5T MRI, delivering improved image quality and faster scan times compared with 1.5T MRI. The new 3T MRI has a 70cm wide bore and a wide table that is low to the ground, all to improve patient comfort and ease of getting on and off of the scanner table. The machine is designed to encourage feet-first scans, meaning more head-out scans, reducing the chance that patients suffer from claustrophobia. It also works with a new adaptive lightweight and flexible coil, just another feature that focuses on maximizing patient comfort during the scan.

Dr. Aria Ghaffari

Thomas Stejskal, MD, board-certified in radiology since 1985, specializes in cross-sectional imaging and interventional radiology. He completed both his fellowship and residency at The University of Arizona College of Medicine, where he also earned his MD. His transitional medicine internship was at the Tucson Hospitals Medical Education Program. With a strong educational foundation from the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Stejskal brings extensive expertise and a commitment to advanced radiological care.
